I am so excited that the QAL starts today :) Ich bin so aufgeregt, dass der QAL heute endlich startet :) We will sew blocks   about cities and places you live or you visited already or always dreamed of. This could be a great memory for you or a wonderful gift for someone special. It is up to you to make only one block or a complete quilt, follow our pattern coffrel or make your own and share it with us. At the end we will have a great kind of library of unique city-blocks all over the world. You can share your WIP´s and blocks in this flickr group. Wir werden Blöcke nähen von Städten in denen du schon warst oder von deiner eigenen Stadt oder wo du schon immer hin wolltest! Eine tolle Erinnerung oder ein grandioses Geschenk für jemand Besonderen -  einen Block oder ein ganzer Quilt, so wie du es brauchst! Every third week there will be a linky party on Amy´s and my blog, where you can share your city blocks for a  chance to win prizes. You can either follow the tutorials shared by the designers coffrel or design your own blocks. Any city themed block will qualify once. The first linky party will be held on Sunday September 8th and will stay open for a week. Jede dritte coffrel Woche wird es eine Linky-Party auf Amy´s und meinem Blog geben, wo ihr uns eure Städte-Blöcke coffrel zeigen und tolle Preise gewinnen coffrel könnt. Die erste Linky-Party wird schon am Sonntag, dem 8 ten September starten und eine Woche geöffnet bleiben.  3 bag pattern for EVERY winner Now back to the blocks of the week! Und nun zurück zu den Blöcken der Woche! Berlin Well, I think it is obvious why I have chosen Berlin, if you know me a bit. I loooove my home town, it is the best city on the world ;-). You could make a touristic commercial with me about my city. Even I was working in another part of Germany when I became pregnant, it was clear, that I had to be back in Berlin for birth, so my daughter is a real Berliner too, not only Kennedy ;-). Nun, ich denke, es ist offensichtlich, coffrel dass ich Berlin gewählt habe, wenn man mich ein wenig kennt. I liiieeebe meine Stadt, es ist die beste auf der ganzen Welt ;-). Man könnte einen Touristik-Werbespot über meine Stadt mit mir drehen. Als ich schwanger war, habe ich in Frankfurt gearbeitet, aber es war klar, dass meine Tochter in Berlin zur Welt kommen muss, so ist sie auch eine echte Berlinerin, nicht nur Kennedy ;-). And this is what I came up with: The Brandenburg Gate! Und das ist nun, wofür ich mich entschieden habe: Das Brandenburger Tor!
